-SATURDAY- Midday-Wedding Ceremony & Champagne Reception

The wedding ceremony will take place on Diagonal Drive; a half-mile-long road in the heart of City Park. We'll be toward the north end of the road, near the Harrison Avenue traffic circle. Look for white tents & wedding decor! If you're having trouble finding it, please contact our coordinator, Kelsey (504) 717-0616 It's September in New Orleans and it may still be hot. The ceremony is shaded, but is outdoors at midday, so we recommend comfortable, breathable, light-colored clothing. - pastels, summer dresses, seersucker, linen. Kind of a tea party, Renoir-picnic-scene. Feel free to bring a parasol or fancy wide-brimmed hat. You will be walking on the ground, so maybe rethink stilettos. You'll have 7 hours between the ceremony and the reception, so explore the city, take a nap, grab a bite to eat & change into your nighttime attire!

Swamp-chic! We were imagining sort of a colorful, glamorous, gypsy aesthetic. Ladies, feel free to go anywhere from Gatsby-inspired dresses/flapper headwear to cocktail dresses with a boa. Gentlemen- add a lil spunk to your formal attire! If you have any paisley in the closet, work that into your outfit.
Please join us for music, cake, and libations! Drink, dance, and celebrate with us at the Art Garage! *Parking may be tough at this time on a Saturday, so Lyft, Uber and cabs are encouraged. If you do drive, we recommend that you park in the Marigny, across St. Claude from the event.
