Saturday night in Cape Town, Clément is in South Africa for business, he decides to go for a drink in town after a long trip. He sits down on a sofa, next to an amazing South African woman, who will change the rest of his life. Babette. But he doesn't know it yet. 2 days later he has to leave South Africa, but he decides to "miss" his flight, to stay one more day with Babette. He then comes back to France. It is then Babette who will decide to come visit this stranger in Paris. Their life will never be the same. A bridge of love is set between South Africa and France.

Taking advantage of Clément's mother's birthday, Clément invited Babette to Paris. They should have then headed to La Rochelle, but Clément had something else in mind....proposing to her! While exploring Paris, he suddenly stopped in front of a building and decided to take Babette with him. While climbing the stairs, Babette thought of a hidden rooftop....when she climbed the ladder, and arrived on the rooftop, she didn't see anything except an amazing view on Paris, a red blanket, a bottle of champagne, and candles.....she turned back, not understanding what was happening. Clément on one knee, asking her to be the woman of his life.
