This is our story told by Chelsea with excerpts from Brock. I wish I could say that our story was easy and effortless, but then it wouldn’t be OUR story...Spoiler alert, it has a happy ending obviously! We met in Rock Springs, WY. I was helping a local bar plan a beer pong tournament. Day of tournament arrives, I am very busy and this cute guy walks up to me and says, “sorry I’m late, we’re the Splash Brothers.” I looked at him annoyed and said, “that name is taken”. He said, “okay we will be team Romo”. I looked at him even more annoyed and said “no, and the Cowboys suck!” Little did I know I just met my future husband. For the rest of the night Brock was so nice to me and I made it my mission to not let him win. [Brock] And we STILL got second, even though she was rude there was something about her that I liked. Fast forward a month, we ran into each other at the same bar. I was getting ready to go to Denver. Brock and I started talking about how mean I was to him during the tournament, and it made both of us laugh. Brock said, “hey can I add you on FB?” To which I replied, “I mean you can, doesn’t mean I’ll accept.” [Brock] I remember us hanging out the rest of that night and being so happy and excited that I might actually have a chance. While I was in Denver, we talked day and night. When I got back to Rock Springs, Brock and I started to date. There were some ups and downs along the way but ultimately, we always found our way back to each other, not only creating a beautiful relationship but a best friendship. Brock and I both weren’t looking for a relationship, quite the opposite. We were both happy on our own, but I will say, life is so much more with him and our dogs, [Brock] one named Romo lol! He makes me a better person and has supported my dreams. I can’t wait to marry him! [Brock] she pushes me out of my comfort zone which has turned into me traveling more and being open to try new things. I can’t wait to call her my wife.
