FAQs

Question

How do I get to Thousand Palms?

Answer

Getting here is easy! The nearest airport is Palm Springs International (PSP). Land, grab a margarita, and you’ll be in the desert before the ice melts. Major airlines like American, United, Delta, and Southwest all fly into PSP. Prefer to drive? If you’re driving from Fresno, the trip is roughly 338 miles south and takes about 5.5 hours. (The margs may melt before you arrive, hehe).

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

As the venue does not offer enough onsite parking, we strongly encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft.

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

Formal attire is encouraged, suited for our outdoor venue. Women may wear midi or full-length dresses in elevated fabrics such as chiffon, crepe, silk, or satin. Men are encouraged to wear suits with ties. Please, no jeans or overly casual attire.

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. We kindly ask that you silence and put away your phones so you can be fully present as we say “I do.”

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We’ll include specific details about kids on your invitation, so please check there for the most accurate information.

Question

Do I have a plus one?

Answer

We’ve thoughtfully planned our guest list, and plus ones are only included if noted on your invitation and RSVP. Thank you so much for understanding- it truly means a lot to us!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In early October, the desert typically enjoys warm, sunny weather, perfect for a celebration! Daytime temperatures usually range from the low 90s to high 80s, with cooler evenings in the mid-60s to low 70s. Rain is very rare this time of year, so you can expect mostly clear skies and dry conditions.
