What is the RSVP Deadline?

Please have your RSVP submitted no later than October 1st, 2024!

When is the last day to reserve a hotel room?

Answer

You must have your hotel rooms reserved by September 30th, 2024!

How should we dress?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. We request that no guest wear denim jeans, cowboy hats, or cowboy/work boots.

Are our kids invited?

Answer

If your children were included on the invitation (ex. "The Johnson Family"), they are invited! If they were not, think of this as a date night celebrating the groom and the bride and an excellent excuse to find a babysitter.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your wedding invitation was addressed to yourself and a guest, then you can bring a plus one. If the wedding invitation was addressed to just you, we are looking forward to celebrating with just you!

How accessible is the wedding and reception venue?

Answer

There is an elevator connecting the main floor and the lower level where the reception will be. The ceremony itself will be outside on the veranda.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot if you would like to drive yourselves. If you are staying at the reserved hotel, there is a free shuttle to and from the venue.

Can I leave my car at the venue overnight?

Answer

Yes, but it has to be picked up by 9:00am the next day.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

There will be a plated dinner from the awesome restaurant, Rudy's Red Eye Grill, with several options! We would ask that you are responsible for managing dietary restrictions. There will also be cake for dessert. The cake consists of two flavors: chocolate Bailey's and chocolate caramel.

Are we able to bring our own alcohol?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY NOT! Please do not bring any outside alcohol into the venue as it will result in the event ending early.

Are we allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be an unplugged ceremony, however we would love you to take pictures after the ceremony! You can post on social media using the hashtag #BecomingTheBaabs! Bonus points if you get really cute candids of the bride and groom.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? Is it outside?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:00pm and you can begin arriving at 4:30pm. Our ceremony will be indoors due to impending colder temperatures.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We will have a card box available at our reception, and there is registry information on this website. We have been so blessed to already have a home, so we have opened a honeymoon fund! If you feel comfortable, please consider donating to this fund as your gift to us. There is a small registry through Macy's and Zola.

What are the food options?

Answer

There are three plated dinner options: 1) Redeye Marinated Sirloin- 8 oz. sirloin lightly marinated in a soy-hoisin sauce, cooked to a medium rare/medium temperature. Served with Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes, and Green Bean Almondine. 2) Parmesan Chicken- Chicken breast coated in Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, topped with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese, served over a bed of fettuccini pasta. Served with Green Bean Almondine. 3) Butternut Squash Ravioli (Vegetarian)- Butternut Squash stuffed ravioli with a Brown Butter Sage Sauce. All courses are accompanied by a Caesar Salad, soft bread rolls, and freshly brewed coffee.

Is there a rehearsal?

Answer

There will be a small rehearsal the day before the wedding, at 4:00pm. It will be located at the venue.

Where/when is the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

For the folks invited, the rehearsal dinner is at Austin and Amanda’s home, after the rehearsal, at 6:00pm. Pizza Lucé will be provided. The address: 2586 Flandrau St. Maplewood, MN 55109
