One of our favorite weekend trips out of town. Sedona is about 2 hours from all wedding festivities and is full of Red rock hiking, vortex views, and charming shops.
Lost Dutchman State Park
Hike scenic trails at the base of the Superstition Mountains, then step back in time at nearby Goldfield Ghost Town with its saloons, shops, and Old West charm. Just a 45-minute drive from the wedding venue.
Dreamy Draw Recreation Area
Enjoy scenic desert trails with stunning city and mountain views at Dreamy Draw Recreation Area, just a short drive from the wedding venue. Perfect for a peaceful morning hike.
Topgolf Scottsdale
Our very first date spot! Enjoy a fun afternoon of games, drinks, and bites with friends, just a short drive from the wedding venue.
Old Town Scottsdale
Just a short drive from the wedding venue, Old Town Scottsdale is full of charm and energy. Enjoy vibrant nightlife, local breweries, boutiques, and coffee spots, or simply stroll the streets to soak in the mix of modern and historic Arizona vibes. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon or evening out.
Cave Creek
Just a 40 minute drive north from the wedding venue, Cave Creek is a step back in time to the Old West. Wander its charming cowboy streets, browse local shops and galleries, and enjoy iconic spots like El Encanto for classic Southwestern dining. Don’t miss the Buffalo Chip Saloon, where you can catch a lively rodeo, listen to live music, and soak in a true frontier atmosphere.
Pinnacle Peak Park
Just 25–30 minutes from the wedding venue, Pinnacle Peak Trail is a must for scenic desert hikes with iconic rocky views and well-marked trails. After your hike, take a short drive to Doc Cavalliere Park, a peaceful spot with walking paths and stunning mountain vistas — and the same place where Sam proposed!

Dine in: Spinato’s Pizzeria– Delicious pizzas and Italian favorites in a relaxed setting with multiple locations. This is a date night favorite! Jalapeño Inferno- A family favorite Mexican food restaurant located in North Scottsdale. The Henry – One of our favorites with great brunch and dinner options. Eggstasy – Breakfast and brunch hotspot with fresh, creative dishes. Fast Food: Tacos Calafia – Fresh and flavorful tacos for a fast, satisfying meal located near downtown Torchy’s Tacos – Gourmet-style tacos with unique flavors. Sam's favorite from Dallas now in Phoenix! Raising Cane’s – Famous for crispy chicken fingers and signature sauce. This is a staple in our household- but no slaw, extra toast! In-N-Out Burger – Classic West Coast burger experience, always a favorite and where we bring our east coasters.
