Alexandra & Aziel
Our Story
Aziel and Alex’s official story goes back to Halloween 2022, but their relationship began way before then. Aziel and Alex met in Dayton, Ohio where they attended the same church. In fact, Aziel sat right next to Alex on his first day at Berean Baptist Temple in 2021! From there, they became friends: often attending the same young adults events at church and even running into each other at work at Wright-Patterson AFB.
Aziel soon moved to Alex’s neighborhood: from there, they began carpooling to events, experienced a few power outages, and even had movie nights. They grew closer and closer, leading to Aziel asking Alex on a date on a rainy Halloween in 2022: Aziel was dressed as a banana and Alex was dressed as Guy Fieri!
Their relationship took off, going on many adventures. Alex was soon called away to Alaska, but their relationship blossomed through the distance: their faith in Christ enabled their relationship to flourish in spite of a 2,000+ miles and 4 hour time difference.
