The venue is approximately 20 minutes outside of Braga at Quinta Lago Dos Cisnes. We recommend staying in Braga as it is the closest town. A shuttle from Hotel Melia to the venue will be provided. You do not have to stay at the hotel to use the shuttle.
We recommend flying into Porto (see travel section). You may also fly into Lisbon, Portugal; it is about a 3 hour drive to Braga.

Yes! The main rail connection is provided by Comboios de Portugal (CP ), the national railway company of Portugal. This route features two principal train services: the Alfa Pendular (AP) and the Intercidades (IC). Website: https://www.cp.pt/passageiros/en
You will need a passport valid 3 months beyond your intended stay! The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) is currently expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026 and so you will likely not need one. We will keep this page updated if this changes
Men: Black Tie/ Formal Suits with Ties Women: Formal floor-length gowns/ Dress to Impress All wedding day festivities will be black tie optional. See below for definition: Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (Think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. Please note the bridesmaids will be wearing black, so feel free to wear colorful dresses.
