The more colorful, the better! We'd love to see anyone from any background wear South Asian Mehndi outfits, but if you want to keep it western, make it comfortable to dance in and don't shy away from color!
In lieu of a traditional Mehndi or Shaadi, we decided to combine the two events. Cocktail hours will be from 6pm to 8pm, and dinner will be served alongside all of our traditional festivities!

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Traditionally ethnic wear is always welcome!
Our Walima will be a traditional wedding reception, with cocktail hours from 6pm to 8pm. Dinner will be served promptly at 8. Be sure to arrive and take in the wonderful venue that is the Chicago Field Museum. We will have Docents available to tour the exhibitions with your cocktails! We have organized valet parking for guests who will be driving, and have a shuttle departing at 5:15 pm for guests staying at the Embassy Suites in Naperville.
