Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're very fortunate to have so many friends and family that we want to share this day with, however, the venue space does have a capacity limit that we must abide by. Please refer to the guests listed on your invitation's envelope for details. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you are able to join us anyway and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family on us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, on the Formal/Semi-Formal side. The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors so dress for a late summer/early fall evening!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. Harkness State Park has plenty of parking, and out of state residents do not need to pay to park for events.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing transportation to and from the venue and Hilton Mystic. The shuttle will leave promptly at 4:15 PM. Additionally, uber and lyft are used widely around our venue. Please remember to be safe and grab a ride if you will be enjoying some adult beverages.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the Pergola at Eolia Mansion no later than 4:45. Harkness State Park is a public place, so feel free to arrive even earlier to take in the beautiful views!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than September 1, 2024. Due to strict deadlines with our vendors, we cannot accommodate RSVPs after this date.

Yes! Zack is hard at work doing lots of research on what we should put on our registry... stay tuned!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions that we need to inform our caterer of. We have an excellent caterer who has assured us that all of our friends and family will be able to enjoy despite any allergies or dietary restrictions!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved for our guest at Hilton Mystic. Please visit our Travel page for more details. Holiday Inn New London is also conveniently located and close to our venue. There are many beautiful inns, Air BnBs and VRBOs in our area, as well!

When can I take pictures throughout the day?

Answer

We are kindly requesting an "unplugged" ceremony. Our photographers and videographer will be capturing the moments, and we will share them with you after the big day! Outside of the ceremony, you are welcome to capture all of the moments!
