You will need a passport valid for at least another 6 months after the wedding. As of Sunday, May 5 2022 and for as long as the epidemiological data allow so, all travelers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test). Please routinely check https://gr.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/ for the most up to date COVID-related requirements for entry to Greece + keep in mind that layovers in other foreign countries may have additional requirements.
The State Department has instructions on how to go about renewing your passport. On average, it can take about 6-10 weeks for your passport to be renewed. If you need your passport sooner, you can contact your local Congressman and request that your passport renewal be expedited (seriously, it's part of their job!)
Yes, the dress code is semi-formal. Festive colors, patterns, and silhouettes encouraged! It will be entirely outdoor and lakeside, so for ladies we recommend a shoe that will be appropriate to wear on grass.
We highly encourage all guests to stay at either the Divani or Amarilia, as we will be providing transportation between these two hotels and the ceremony and reception sites. For more information, see the Travel page.
We have booked our stay in the Amarilia!
We will be having an 'unplugged' ceremony and ask that all phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony has concluded. We have hired the most amazing photographer, Magdalene, to capture every moment and will happily share her photos after the wedding.
Yes! We have a welcome event at the Amarilia on September 11th at 5 pm and a Farewell Breakfast at the Amarilia the next day at 9:30 am
We recommend arriving by Saturday, September 10th to give yourself enough time to settle in and adjust to the time difference before the fun begins!
