Invisible string theory is “the idea that people are connected to their "person" by an unbreakable string that transcends time, distance, and geography.” The invisible string between us is that we were both born at Christus Schumpert Hospital and from the same region, but we had never met. Despite Jamil having moved and lived in numerous states like: Nebraska, Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado; we found our way back to each other. Jamil just so happened to move back around the time Aysia started looking to buy a home, which led to our meet cute moment. Without God, our meeting would not have been possible. He is the reason we found our way back to each other. We were introduced to each other through Jamil’s cousin Alana, within a few months of Jamil moving back. At the time, Alana was Aysia’s realtor. Back in January 2024, Alana mentioned wanting to play Cupid and introduce Aysia to her cousin for Valentine’s Day. After closing on her home, Jamil and Aysia exchanged numbers and have been inseparable ever since. Our conversations have always felt sweet and natural. Feeling as if we have known each other our entire lives. As if we found the missing piece of a puzzle. Since then, we have loved spending time together and making memories whether they are big or small. We have loved every memory we have made together including our trips, cooking dinner, playing games, cuddling, finding quirky tv shows to watch together (The Office, Superstore, TSITP, Abbott Elementary, etc.) and our coffee dates (fun fact: our first date was at Starbucks! ). Every moment together has been so surreal. Being together has made our lives so meaningful, we cannot wait to make many more memories together.
