Of course they met playing basketball. They first locked eyes while playing during an open gym held at Monroe College. They did not officially meet until a week later. They ran into each other at a basketball game played by Naya and Angela's family friend. They were on the same team for years yet, Angela and Aysha never crossed paths. After Angela chased Aysha down in the parking lot, they both knew there was a spark, but Angela was leaving for Germany in a few days time. They parted ways and did not reconnect until a year later. Yes, it was another basketball game. Angela again had to leave for Germany to play basketball. They later friended each other on Facebook and Skype. They began to talk regularly and became good friends. Angela and Aysha spent time together when Angela had the opportunity to fly home for Christmas. They attended, you guessed it, a basketball game at the Westchester County Center. Angela met Aysha's parents, they went to dinner, then they went to the movies, and met Aysha's parents at a bar. This was all during a snowstorm. During the next several months, their communication faded. When Angela returned, they rekindled their flame. It did not take long before they realized they wanted to commit themselves to each other. They have been a team, literally, ever since.
