11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Tennis shoes or hiking shoes.
This will be an easy hike that will take only a few hours. Bottled water will be provided and we do plan on taking breaks throughout the hike. This hike is for the wedding party only.
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
There is no need to dress up. Feel free to stay in your jammies.
We will be doing a quick ceremony run through at Sandee and Bob’s house.
2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Swimwear or shorts and a t-shirt. Wear shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. If it's overcast bring a fleece or windbreaker. Montana River Guides provides wetsuits and splash jackets at no extra charge if necessary. You might want some dry clothes to change into after the trip.
The Alberton Gorge is one of Montana's best summer whitewater raft trips. When we arrive the guides will get everyone into lifejackets and give a safety talk. Don't bring anything that you don't want to lose on the trip. We will be doing a half day trip that will last between 2-4 hours. The rafting headquarters are located 30 minutes west of Missoula. Get on I-90 West and go about 30 miles. Take Exit 70 Cyr. Drive across the old bridge and take a sharp left down to the river. Drive about 200 yards and park in lot and walk to the office and check in. They are located at the Cy Bridge Fishing Access. 3:00 pm
This will be a formal ceremony so please dress accordingly. The ground will be grass and may be a little bumpy so we strongly recommend wedges or flats.
We will have maps for you with directions to the ceremony site and a meeting area if you wish to follow others or carpool to the ceremony. Once you arrive we will have a designated parking area. The wedding party will be in a big tent near the parking area so please don’t peak inside. When you arrive find your chair with your name on it and have a seat. Feel free to take photos before and after the ceremony. We do ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony. Please wait until after July 13th to post any photos on social media.
6:00 pm
We recommend changing into jeans and a nice shirt and bringing a light sweater or jacket.
We will proved the beer, soda and food. Bill and Gwen have a lawn bowling and croquet court. We would love to have lots of candid photos from the night so feel free to take as many photos on your phones as you want.
12:00 pm
This activity may change if the river is cold.
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Hiking shoes and an extra layer of clothes are reccomended as it will get chilly at the top.
Bring at least 2 to 3 bottles of water and 3 snacks. The total length of this hike is about 6 miles. The first half of the hike is mostly flat and comes to a beautiful view. If you are up for the challenge the second half of the hike will be more of a climb, but we promise the view will be worth it. You will need to carpool and leave at the same time as everyone else since this spot is very secluded and not on a map.
