We're Getting Married!

From the very beginning, there was something special about the connection between Ayreona and Montiere. They met in August 2022 and quickly realized how naturally they fit into each other’s lives. After their first date, they spent time together each week, building a relationship grounded in friendship, trust, and shared values. Early on, they made the intentional decision to place God at the center of their relationship, finding a church home together and building a foundation rooted in faith, love, and purpose. Over time, they built a life filled with meaningful traditions and simple joys — exploring beautiful beaches, finding new favorite sweet treats, cheering on Baylor basketball (a love Ayreona happily adopted along the way), and encouraging one another through every season of life. Over the years, they have grown side by side, supporting one another’s dreams, strengthening one another’s faith, and becoming the people they are called to be. On April 25th, during a sunset in Kauai, Montiere proposed on the beach in a moment that felt simple, meaningful, and completely true to who they are. As he shared how much Ayreona meant to him and asked her to spend forever with him, she said yes — beginning the next chapter of a life they are grateful to build together.
