#Ayanfe26- (Ayomide and Felix). We met in lab coats and safety goggles at May & Baker Nigeria Plc. A place where precision ruled, timers beeped, and every decimal mattered. He had already spent over five years there, steady and respected as a Quality Control Analyst, the calm mind everyone trusted when results had to be exact. I was the new In-Process Quality Assurance personnel, still learning the rhythm of production lines and documentation trails. Funny enough, I didn’t even find the job on my own. It was his colleague the woman I lovingly call my Church Big Sister who told me about the opening. I had no idea she was quietly aligning more than just my career. At first, it was simple, professional greetings across the lab, brief conversations about batches and compliance, shared glances over clipboards. He explained test results with patience, I challenged deviations with confidence. Somewhere between stability studies and process checks, our conversations drifted from specifications to dreams. In a place built on analyzing substances, we found something that couldn’t be measured. Love didn’t arrive loudly, it grew like a well controlled reaction, steady, intentional, and beautifully undeniable. What started as teamwork became partnership. What began in white coats became a promise of forever.
