Charles: Ayo and I went to the same medical school and I didn’t know who she was until about 3 years in, when we both became course representatives of our individual classes. We had interactions as leaders in class and our fellowship group but we had a very professional relationship. On one occasion when we went to get a gift for the Founder of our school, as we were returning back in a taxi, we really got talking and I felt a connection but I ignored it (I couldn’t afford to lose focus …lol). We both graduated and kept in touch. All this while, I had an unquenchable love and desire for Ayo and felt it strongly anytime we spoke together. I loved to see her photos on instagram and hear her voice whenever I could. I also liked all her photos on instagram 😉 Fast forward to 2021, I was convinced more than ever, Ayo was the one. We started talking again and this time, she was in the UK, taking a professional exam which I had taken prior. I constantly checked on her and asked how her preparation was going. After her exam, in order to get to her and as a sharp guy😉, I told her I could put her through the process of starting her registration. The plan worked! On the first day, we spoke non-stop for 12hours, gisting about several things and the primary aim of the call was not touched at all. This time, the connnection had grown stronger and I was further convinced we could do life together. Each day was an opportunity to discuss her “registration process” which funny enough, we never did. A few days later, I called her and asked her out. Through this time, we kept talking and after she came back to Nigeria, I went to see her in her city, and I got the most amazing response of my life - Yes! The past 1 year plus of knowing Ayo on a closer level has even been more amazing. Our journey has been very beautiful and I know the future is even more beautiful. Can’t wait to do life with her❤️🕺🏼🕺🏼 Ayomide: So I think I always knew Charles as that serious guy that was living for Jesus and focused on his studies. We had several interactions in school which gave me a good idea of the type of person he was but we really weren’t close. For some awkward reason he always sent really long and nice birthday messages or VNs which I kinda chucked up to him being a nice person but I guess it wasn’t that innocent😏😍 In 2021, I noticed Charles would randomly chat me up or comment on my IG posts but I really didn’t think anything of it. After my exams we started talking under the guise of helping me with the registration but I soon started to enjoy our conversations. A few days later he asked me out and I honestly had no response😂 but he didn’t mind. We kept talking and I told him I wouldn’t be able to give him an answer until we saw in person. A few weeks down the line and several convictions in, I was sure my answer was gonna be yes but I didn’t know how to say it. So I wrote him a poem and found a song I felt perfectly explained how I felt and played it for him and the rest is history they say. Several months in now and I honestly never imagined a love this beautiful with such an amazing human❤️❤️❤️
