We met at Holt's in Philadelphia, I just started and J.R. was just my boss then. We had a lot in common, he was a stand up comedian and before that the producer for the Y-100 morning show with Preston and Steve. He had traveled extensively throughout the US and the world performing stand up, just as I had done with ballet. Both artists we quickly got along but especially so since I had tried some open mics in NYC and studied at UCB and his first job was fitting pointe shoes, we knew each other's art without being the same kind of artist. Add to that the revelation that we both stopped our artisic journey because of loosing our fathers we were instantly on the same page. It was only a matter of time before the rules were broken. We laugh a lot, but he also keeps me grounded and responsible and focused and I help him see the optimistic side of life and go with the flow. We have spent everyday together since working together, building a home together, swimming, going to the gym, visiting wineries and breweries and all our local Collingswood and Philadelphia restaurants. "It's the good life, full of fun that's become the ideal" - Frank Sinatra
I'll let him tell this one..... coming soon :-)
