Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Aynslee Sophia King and Jacob Murphy Santos
We both grew up in Anacortes and spent six of those years together here, so this town is full of our favorite memories. From hikes and beach walks to local coffee shops and good food, here are some of the spots we love most and hope you’ll get to enjoy while you’re here!
Washington Park

Washington Park

Washington Park Loop, Anacortes, WA 98221

We spent years going to Washington Park together. Whether it was to walk, drive the loop, or hangout with friends, this spot is a must see when you come to town. Oh, and it's also where we got engaged! There is a 2-mile paved loop road you can either walk or drive around and see great views!

Mount Erie

Mount Erie

1300 Erie Mountain Drive, Anacortes, WA 98221

Our first photo together when we first started dating! Mount Erie is another amazing viewpoint that is a must see and a place we visit every time we go home. You'll drive up a steep paved road that will take you to the viewpoint.

Anacortes Kayak Tours

Anacortes Kayak Tours

2009 Skyline Way, Anacortes, WA 98221

We had to shoutout where Jake was a kayak guide for years. Anacortes Kayak Tours offers 1.5 hour, 3 hour, and 5 hour kayak tours, giving you a true Anacortes experience on the water.

Island Adventures

Island Adventures

712 Seafarers Way, Anacortes, WA 98221

Not in the mood to kayak? Whale watching tours are another great way to experience Anacortes from the water.

Deception Pass Park

Deception Pass Park

41229 State Route 20, Oak Harbor, WA 98277

Another must-see viewpoint Anacortes is famous for. Deception Pass is home to a picturesque double bridge and multiple state parks with plenty of trails for exploring. Bowman Bay, another kayaking location for AKT where Jake worked, is apart of Deception Pass Park. This is also where we took our engagement photos!

Anacortes Ferry Terminal

Anacortes Ferry Terminal

2100 Ferry Terminal Road, Anacortes, WA 98221

If you are in town for a few days, taking the ferry out to one of the San Juan Islands is a must. We love going to Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. You can either take a car, walk on, or bike. We recommend taking a car to properly explore the islands.

Anacortes Arts Festival

Anacortes Arts Festival

505 O Avenue, Anacortes, WA 98221

The Anacortes Arts Festival happens to fall on the same weekend as our wedding, which means downtown will be full of art, music, food, and awesome local shopping! It also means town will be quite busy, so make sure to book your hotel sooner rather than later.

Moka Joe Coffee

Moka Joe Coffee

8152 S March Point Road, Anacortes, WA 98221

The best coffee. Aynslee worked here for over 5 years as a barista and Jake also made a guest appearance as a barista for about 6 months. When we come back to town, this is our first and most visited spot. Order Aynslee's go-to: 24oz Americano with 1/2 the amount of white chocolate, 2 white shots, 2 regular shots, and cream.
