This story should come as no surprise to those who know us well. We knew each other through mutual friends in Davis, where we both attended undergraduate and graduate school. One random Wednesday evening in 2011, we were both at Tres Hermanas, where Aynaxi walked up to Nikhil, said "I know you!" and bought him a shot of tequila. To make it up to her, drinks have been on Nikhil for the last decade.

Nikhil planned a surprise day of Aynaxi's favorite things. We went to Napa - Aynaxi's version of the most magical place on Earth. The day was filled with bagels, lattes, macrons, CDs, and exceptional wine. Nikhil proposed at Tudal Winery, a hidden gem that we have gone to for years. We celebrated with champagne and fancy food.
