San Francisco International Airport
Air Travel For guests traveling by air, we recommend flying into San Francisco International Airport (SFO). SFO is the closest major airport to the city and offers the widest range of domestic and international flight options. From the airport, San Francisco is approximately 20–30 minutes by car depending on traffic. Rideshare services (Uber/Lyft), taxis, rental cars, and public transportation (BART) are all readily available from the airport, making it easy to reach hotels and accommodations throughout the city. If you are planning to explore beyond San Francisco during your trip, SFO also provides convenient access to the Bay Area, including Marin, Napa, and the Peninsula.

Both the Inn at the Presidio and Lodge at the Presidio (information below) are managed by the same group. They are very close to the chapel and Officer's Club, in the heart of the Presidio. That said, there are many other excellent hotel options nearby and throughout San Francisco should you prefer alternatives. If you would like to book our room block: 1.
