Is there a dress code?

Answer

If you are able to, please dress in cocktail attire—e.g., cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature for Greensburg, Kentucky during this time of year has a high of 68°F with a low of 48°F. The wedding ceremony will be held outside at 4PM CT and will last around 30 minutes, we recommend bringing a light coat of some kind that will keep you warm until the reception is held in the barn. The barn is equppied with heaters to keep guests at an optimal temperature throughout the night.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Barn at Cedar Grove. The ceremony will start in the Barn's meadow. Following the ceremony, guests will transition into the Barn for the reception.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving about half an hour before the beginning of the ceremony so we can get the party started as scheduled! Please note during the ceremony road access to the Barn will be blocked from guests arrival until the reception begins.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue and FREE! The Barn staff will be directing guests to the appropriate parking area. Please note that no guest vehicles can be left beyond 12AM CT.

Is the Barn handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! If you will need assistance with traveling around the venue please let Ayleia know ASAP. Barn staff will have golf carts on standby for those who need assistance.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

RSVP deadline is no later than September 30th, 2021. If you prefer to RSVP online, please click on the "RSVP" tab located in the menu bar of the website.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes! Guests will first be served with cocktail hour and appetizers following the reception. Dinner and drinks will be served following the bridal party's entrance. The main entree items feature chicken and pork. If you or a guest have dietary restrictions, please let us know in your RSVP form. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests will be accommodated.

Will transportation be provided between to/from our hotels?

Answer

Unfortunately, no transportation will be available to drive guests to and from their hotels.
