Not your typical gym crush scenario though. This time it's between a trainer and a member. Spicy! It's fall of 2020 where Jorge and Ayleen's paths crossed on a gym floor. After weeks of eye-gazing and shared smiles, they finally had their first interaction. They both have different truths on who really made the first move, but nonetheless, they instantly bonded over their love for dance music and weight lifting. As you may already expect, most of their first dates became gym workouts. Then, they started to enjoy music festivals together. After that, it was travelling to new places together. It eventually started to become more apparent, that whatever they used to do independently, all of a sudden was becoming more enjoyable - when they'd do it together. They mixed friend groups, mixed food preferences, and even mixed workout splits (our gym people know - it's hard to let go of your comfortable split). Their love only grew stronger the more they got to know each other. Eventually they found themselves talking about marriage one day, a dreamy home, and little ones running around. It was becoming apparent that they both were committed in this relationship, for the long run. Jorge knows Ayleen likes BIG moments. He thought, there's no better place to propose than in one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Macchu Picchu, right in her family's home country, Peru. As you all know, that's exactly what happened. Once they approached the most beautiful scenery in all Macchu Picchu, he thought, this is the spot. Then got down on one knee and popped the question. Tears, laughter, and lots of love spread in the air that day. And here we are now friends and family, counting down the days for their wedding. In the past year, their relationship has taken a turn, but for the better. They've mutually decided to put Jesus Christ in the center of it all. Dedicating their nights to prayer together, recommitting to where they spend their weekends, and devotion to serving the children in their church. They've given room for God to work in their relationship, to help them become the best possible partner for each other. Not only is this a love story, but a salvation story.
