At the time both if us were in relationships but Ayla’s friends did whisper about her “cute neighbor.” We would run into each other and mutual friends from time to time. Fast forward to 2018 on a rainy March evening we were both at Pks listening to “Hey Honey” a local band with a few mutul friends. That was our first night really meeting and talking. This was also the night of our first kiss. Before long we were spending all our time (when we were not working) hanging out, eating, going on adventures, and laughing. Our first official date was to Toys R Us and 17th Street BBQ. Jason bought a chess board that day that we play on regularly. Within a year of dating we “shacked- up” and moved into a cute house in Murphysboro and blended our animal families. We smoked meats, tended a garden, played board games and contined to fall in love. In 2021 we took a HUGE step and bought our house! Now we look forward to making it even more official, to a great wedding day, and continuing to build our life together. “You and me, makes three”
