Hendy Woods State Park
We highly recommend you take a few hours at some point during the weekend to visit Hendy Woods State Park. Just a short drive down the road from the wedding venue, Hendy woods is just on the edge of where oak forest turns to redwood trees. Take some time to wander through the redwood groves and marvel at this old growth forest.
Navarro Vineyards & Winery
This is Ayla's favorite winery, and their pinot noir is what Ayla & Brett drink on special occasions. They have a free tasting and an outdoor picnic area on their beautiful grounds.
Balo Vineyards
Come for the wine tasting, stay for the bocce ball. Just across the road from The Madrones!
Phillips Hill Tasting Room
A beautiful building with a lot of charm.
Baxter Winery Tasting Room
Just up the road from the Brambles in Philo town, you can taste wine in a tasting room designed by Ayla's dad!
Anderson Valley Brewing Co
One of our favorite breweries, Anderson Valley Brewing Company is solar powered and has a disc golf course on the premises. Explore the tasting room or go for a tour.
Boonville
Boonville is a cute town with fun and interesting history. You can get great food, visit some local art galleries, and learn a few words of Boontling, the town's very own language.
Pennyroyal Farm
Visit Pennyroyal farm and get a wine & cheese pairing, say hello to their sheep and goats, and enjoy their small plates.
