WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

We both were a part of the same weight management company, looking to make friends, money and new experiences. We initially met speaking on the same panel, returning from the company’s annual “red carpet” type of event. Take a wild guess at who had the most to say … lol yep JORDAN .. lol joke. After that event, we still technically hadn’t even had a conversation. But the next day- we were at the same place, same time and I ( Ayisha) was caught red handed staring at Jordan's abs results photo. We got to talking, exchanged Snapchat’s- took the most EMBARRASING photo, and went on our way. A few weeks later I ( Ayisha) reached out to Jordan via snap, after seeing he hurt himself- and was genuinely concerned if he was okay. I didn’t text like a normal human being- I called him in the app. And the smooth talker he was, decided to get my number instead and we immediately became friends after that. It took many times for me to say yes to going on a date, then had a friend who was interested in Jordan , followed by a lot of denial to finally realize .. I REALLY LIKED THIS GUY! After 9 months of friendship and really getting to know one another- we decided to give us a shot and before we knew it we were falling in love.❤️

We had been planning Jordan's 30th birthday celebration, and had family and closest friends come over for a backyard BBQ. And I just remember scrambling all morning with his mom and sis in law to get all of his decorations in order, to make sure it was perfect for him. Turns out everyone was trying to keep me busy, and distracted from the real plan. As he opened up his last gift, he made this speech about how much we’ve been through , and how he couldn't imagine doing life with anybody else. I didn’t even let him finish asking before I screamed YES! A backyard birthday, turned into a surprise proposal and celebration.

Out of all the stories one could tell- ours is definitely our favorite! We’ve had so many incredible adventures together over the last 5 years. From traveling to new places, to moving in together, and opening up a business. With the good also has come tough times, and devastating losses, but we believe that is what’s made us even stronger. So this 6’4 , Houston born , basketball loving, funny, most patient man in the world fell in love with this 4’11, Brooklyn born, outgoing, charismatic ,Puerto Rican fire cracker. We can't wait to share our love and celebrate with all of you on July 30th ( the very day we met 6 years ago)
