Meet Kaya—Ayiana’s little sister, built-in best friend, and now, Maid of Honor. From matching outfits as kids to late-night hangouts playing Mario Kart or Mario Party (while Ayiana does Kaya’s hair, of course), Kaya has been by Ayiana’s side her whole life (literally). She’s funny, bold, and for lack of better words—completely unfiltered. Whether she’s cracking a joke at the worst possible time or speaking her mind in the most Kaya way possible, she’s guaranteed to keep things interesting (and everyone on their toes). We chose Kaya for this role not just because she’s family, but because she’s fiercely loyal, always down for a last-minute girls’ night, and has shown up for us both in ways that only a sister can. Plus, no one hypes Ayiana up quite like Kaya—whether it's for a big life moment or a spontaneous selfie in good lighting. Some of her favorite things? Tanning poolside—especially in Tampa, Florida, where she went to school—with iced coffee in hand, probably planning her next vacation in her head. A favorite memory? One time Kaya convinced Ayiana to film a choreographed dance for TikTok—which ended with more laughing (and outtakes) than actual dancing. Let’s just say rhythm isn’t exactly a shared trait. We couldn’t imagine this day without her standing right next to us, likely making us laugh through happy tears.
Matt McHugh
Best Man
Meet Matt—Mike’s childhood best friend, longtime partner-in-crime, and now, Best Man. These two have been close for over 20 years, from playing soccer together as kids to sharing way too many inside jokes that no one else understands. He’s Irish, tall, and funny—basically the go-to guy for a sarcastic comment and a spot-on movie quote. Whether they’re reliving old memories or just hanging out at the driving range, Matt has always been the friend who brings the laughs and keeps it real. We chose Matt for this role not just because of how long he’s been in Mike’s life, but because of the kind of friend he is—loyal, honest, and always up for anything. He’s supported us both over the years and has a special way of making every moment (even the stressful ones) feel lighter. A favorite memory? Growing up on the soccer field together—usually goofing off more than actually playing—but somehow always managing to have the most fun out there. These days, you’ll find Matt reviewing movies like he’s got his own critic column or working on his golf swing with just the right amount of overconfidence. We couldn’t imagine this day without him standing next to us—probably making a joke, definitely making it memorable.
Alina Seifert
Bridesmaid/Something Blue
Ayiana and Alina’s friendship truly came out of the blue, beginning when they met at school and quickly growing into something neither of them could have imagined. What started as a simple connection turned into a lifelong bond built on laughter, trust, and unconditional support. Over the years, Alina has been Ayiana’s constant — through every high and low, every big dream and quiet moment. She brings calm when it’s needed, joy when it’s missing, and laughter no matter the circumstance. Life simply wouldn’t look the same without her by Ayiana’s side. As Ayiana steps into this next chapter, it felt only right to have Alina stand beside her as both a bridesmaid and her something blue. She represents the unexpected blessings, deep friendship, and love that have colored Ayiana’s life in the most beautiful way.
Wesley Mallon
Groomsman
Wesley is Ayiana’s little brother and has been an important part of her life for as long as she can remember. He’s someone both she and Mike genuinely enjoy spending time with and who fits seamlessly into their lives. His presence always brings laughter, comfort, and a sense of familiarity that makes any moment better. He’s always down for late nights on Xbox, whether it’s intense rounds of Dead by Daylight or jumping into whatever game the night turns into. Some of their favorite memories include Wesley bringing his friends over for completely impromptu game nights at Ayiana and Mike’s place, turning an ordinary evening into nonstop laughter with games like Quiplash. Wesley’s easygoing personality and great sense of humor make every gathering more fun. Mike is proud to have Wesley standing by his side on such an important day, and Ayiana couldn’t be happier to have her little brother so closely involved in this special moment.
