Pellikoothuru/Pellikoduku and Haldi

This event is semi-formal. Since haldi (turmeric) is yellow, lots of people will wear yellow. However, feel free to wear whatever you like but bright colors are preferred! No black please.
Family and friends apply turmeric paste and sandalwood paste on the Pellikoothru (Bride) and the Pellikoduku (Groom). This is the start of wedding festivities.
Mehendi
6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This event is for the ladies and gentlemen who want to get henna done before the wedding ceremony the next day. We will have instructions on how to maintain the henna, when to take it off, and aftercare. Be careful, while it's wet it can get on your clothes. Dinner and refreshments will be served during this time.

This event is formal but be sure to bring your dancing feet!
This is a processional for the groom arriving to the venue. It is filled with music and dancing. Everyone please join in! We will start at 9:30 am promptly so please try to arrive 10-15 minutes early so you don’t miss out on the fun! There will be small refreshments afterwards on the way to the ceremony area.
Wedding Ceremony
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

This event is formal and will occur right after the Baraat. No need to change outfits in between.
This is where Ayesha and Adithya finally get married! Please join us in blessing the bride and groom on their new journey together. All the rituals performed during the ceremony will be listed on the program provided. There will be a luncheon to follow.
Reception

This event is formal. Since there is a gap between the ceremony and reception, feel free to have an outfit change (or not!) Think all out glam and sparkle for outfits. Be ready to party the night away!
Cocktail hour will start at 6:00pm with venue opening up for dinner, speeches, cake cutting and performances at 7:00pm. After dinner, there will be dancing for the rest of the evening!
