I am staying in one of the family houses, what time should I arrive?

Answer

For those who are staying in one of the family houses we ask that you come no earlier than 4:30 on February 28, 2022 which is the day prior to the wedding. Once you have arrived someone will show you to your house.

How should I dress?

Answer

The weather in the keys is a little different than up north. It can be comfortable in the shade, but very warm in the sun. Tee shirts and shorts are recommended, but a light jacket may be necessary. We expect it to be sunny and in the mid 70's during the time of year that the event takes place. The only day that we would like a dress code is the actual wedding day. The ceremony and reception will be formal or "beach formal." An explanation of beach formal has been provided below. A dress, suit, or jumpsuit all work for a beach formal wedding. Opt for solid, lighter colors (avoiding black, cream, and white) and breathable fabrics. Tea-length dresses and jumpsuits are acceptable for beach formal attire. To up the elegance, wear a fabric such as metallic or lace.

Will there be food?

Yes, plenty of it! During the wedding we will provide hors d'oeuvres and dinner. We also plan on having a welcome dinner the day prior.

What can I wash it all down with?

Answer

We will provide refreshments of all sorts for the allotted times that food is served. plus a few extras. Those times include arrival time, welcome dinner, cocktail hour, and the duration of the reception. This is Not a dry wedding so alcohol is included.
