They are known for incredible food and wine pairing experiences, and the vibes of sipping wine on a blanket at their beautiful palm-flanked hacienda. They have become so popular, that tasting reservations are now open only to those who join their wine club. If you are looking for a souvenir for the weekend, maybe a Scribe wine membership is in the cards for you!
For those who do not want wine ALL weekend, the Sonoma Valley is home to the Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma! They have a full restaurant, an endless selection of beers, and often have live music! There is also an abundance of parking available at this location.

Valley serves seasonal California dishes and wines with a focus on organic, biodynamic, regenerative, & traditional practices (would we be in CA if they didn't?!) We have had many lovey meals here! The House of Flowers nestled within lush gardens and towering redwood groves in Healdsburg provides a unique expression of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made of grapes from the far Sonoma Coast. Today, you can visit the original store, and head next door to the founder's Sonoma home to see his original furnishings, beautifully integrated with modern pieces from Williams Sonoma Home. This state park is a 10-15 minute drive from the wedding venue and you can explore it on foot, bike, or....horseback! Jack London, author of Call of the Wild and The Sea Wolf, lived and wrote here in the early 1900s.
If you're staying in the area for a little longer, Bodega Bay is a great place to explore with some beautiful coastline views. It is also where they filmed Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." It has some amazing road bike routes and tasty bites to eat. If you like seafood, there are some great options on Highway 1, such as Hog Island Oyster Company in Marshall, CA.
