What is the best way to get there?

Answer

There are a couple routes. From West Knoxville you can take I-40 East to 275 North to Broadway to Tazewell and continue till you reach the house. There is some construction going on this route. Or you can take I-40 East to 640 (W?) to Millertown Pike, Mill Road, Washington Pike, Murphy Road, then Tazewell. This way is more scenic and usually has no traffic. From East of Knoxville you can take the most direct route which is 11W all the way, or take 81 South until you hit exit 417/92, take a left on 11 E and go through some more roads before hitting Tazewell Pike. Both are the same distance.

Where do I park?

Answer

All parking on the asphalt belongs to our neighbor. There isn’t nearly enough space to park there as it is small and narrow. Please continue onward off the asphalt toward the grassy field. Parking for the Wedding is back behind our house in the field on the left.

Where are the restrooms?

Answer

There is one on the main floor of the house and one on the second floor of the house directly above it. There are also 2 in the master bathroom on the main floor, one that is handicap-accessible and otherwise only used for emergencies. There will be a port-a-potty available outside behind the house as well.

If I can’t bring a Turkish dish what can I bring?

Answer

We have a set menu for the wedding luncheon to keep things simple and to provide dietary options for everyone, but you can bring a bottle of champagne or wine!

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both are at our house. Ceremony will be on the front lawn, under a tent if it rains, and the reception will be inside the house on the main floor and porches.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would like there to be enough food and accommodations for everyone to have a great time, so yes, but please notify us ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

What do i wear?

Answer

Dress is formal but fun! (However, please no football fan-wear!) There will be a small coat closet just inside the front door.
