We don’t have a “meet cute” story. We met online (thank you Hinge). He messaged me we started texting each other and then he asked to meet in person. The night before our first date he called me and thank God he did because I was fully ready to back out of the date with the horror stories of online dating meet ups in my head he could’ve been a serial killer for all I knew. We talked for a few hours and the conversation went well so I decided not to cancel. The next day (the morning of the date) we were supposed to meet for breakfast then go to the movies he texts me saying he’s on his way I was still in bed in my pajamas. I was late per usual (40 minutes 😅) and I text him saying “I’m here” and I’m looking for the guy in the pictures from online praying he doesn’t have his goatee (some pictures he was clean shaven some he had his goatee, all pictures he had hair). I call him because I don’t see him he then says “You can’t miss me I’m tall in a green shirt bald shinny head”. I then see him and think this is a 40 year old man who used old pictures of himself when he was younger and he’s catfished me but whatever let’s see how this goes. I arrived too late to go to breakfast before the movie so we just went straight to the movies and watched Lion King the Live Action version tickets. After the movie we decided to go to lunch and then I asked him if he was sure he was 24 and not 34 then he showed me his ID and his passport they both claimed he was 24. Lunch went so well we decided to go see another movie after (Spider Man Far From Home) and then we just hung out and walked around the mall. Our first date ended up being 9 hours long.
