Ceremony: 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle (1725 Rhode Island Ave. NW, Washington, DC). Reception: 6:00-11:00 PM, Poplar Springs Manor (5025 Casanova Rd., Warrenton, VA).

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 29, 2025 by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

Can I bring a guest or date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and email us with any questions at Mangrum.jm@gmail.com.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Although the ceremony starts at 10:00 AM, we recommend that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the official ceremony start time to get settled.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code for the ceremony and reception is formal wear. We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! All events will indoors except for the afternoon cocktail hour.

Question

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. Once the ceremony begins, we kindly ask that all phones are put away and silenced during the ceremony at St. Matthews Cathedral. We want everyone to be fully present and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which will be shared with you. After the ceremony concludes, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

At St. Matthews Cathedral, while metered street parking is available, we recommend parking at the Penn Parking garage between the cathedral and the rectory. The cost per vehicle is $5.

Question

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

Parking will be available at the venue, Poplar Springs Manor.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! When submitting your RSVP, the names of kids in your group should be listed.

Question

Can I bring a gift?

Answer

Having you at our wedding is truly the most meaningful gift we could ask for! If you would still like to give, instead of a gift registry, we would appreciate any contributions to our honeymoon fund through the Venmo app under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception. Please drink responsibly, and don't drink and drive!
