They first exchanged words on Tumblr.com, a place for artists and weirdos and creatives of all types to share their thoughts and art. One day in August of 2019, Kara saw Sarah's photo and just could not resist sending her a message: "you're like... so beautiful lol." *swishhhhhh!* They met in person at a central location in New York City for Sarah's birthday, where one could say it was love at first sight. The two have been absolutely inseparable ever since.
