We're Getting Married!

Jose and Daisy's love story began at church on Easter Sunday, March 2024; however, they believe that their connection can be traced back to their teenage years. They vaguely remember exchanging a few messages here and there, but it never progressed further, and they quickly forgot about each other. Fast forward to the day before Easter Sunday 2024, Jose was attending an Easter party with his family when Daisy's cousin approached him with excitement and, without hesitation, said, "I know the perfect person for you." Little did he know that she had already played Cupid months prior when she had mentioned him to Daisy with the same approach. New to Instagram, he followed her and sent a message that same day. She was excited yet surprised to hear from him! They discovered that they had been attending the same church for months without ever crossing paths. They agreed to meet at the church café the next morning. The conversation lasted only 10 minutes, filled with laughter and small talk, but they both felt a spark of curiosity for one another. Just days later, they went on their first date, which turned into hours of effortless conversation that felt natural and easy. That date was a pivotal moment for both of them, as they experienced a sense of familiarity and comfort that they had not felt in a very long time. Over the next few months, they began to learn from and challenge each other through different seasons of life. From the beginning, they sensed that everything was falling into place. They shared so much laughter, faith, and little moments that felt as if they were written just for them. Above all, they felt a peace from God that provided an undeniable sense that this was right. It didn't take long for them to realize they had found the same type of love that reflected God's love for us. Love that is patient, kind, protects, and perseveres. A love that never fails (1 Corinthians 13). Now, they are stepping into forever with grateful hearts, knowing God's timing made all the difference.
