After studying abroad, I found myself needing to complete junior year physics in my senior year of high school. Andrew and I ended up in the same disorganized class, that became more of a study hall, when the teacher had a mental breakdown first quarter. We said very few words to each other, however this blip in time was something that we both remembered. Fast forward to August 2023, if you have ever online dated in your hometown then you are aware of the common occurrence of people from high school liking your page to say a brief "hey we went to high school together, how are you?" Me being over the whole process, and ready to give up, Andrew sent me a "super like." If you know me and my bluntness, I wrote him immediately stating, "Did you like me because we went to high school together, or are your genuinely interested?" He quickly wrote back, "I am genuinely interested." Our first date was sushi where Andrew ordered the most outrageous rolls. We found time to see each other intermittently with our busy summer travels, a shared interest. We spent the summer talking to each other from a distance, catching up on the last 13 years. We fell in love with the ability to balance each others qualities. On October 10, 2023, we made our relationship official, starting what has become a beautiful connection.
