We're getting married!

Dominque and Zaire first met at the church they both call home, Bridge of Faith Ministries, in 2010. At the time Dominque was 14 and Zaire was 13. Right off the bat there seemed to be an automatic connection between them, something inexplicable and special that they both still can't quite explain. A moment they will both never forget is when they were at Hersheypark standing in line for the Farenheit roler coaser in September of 2010. Justin, Zaire's best friend, looked at the both of them and said "Watch y'all are going to get married one day." Everyone just laughed it off went on to ride the ride. They began to "date" shortly after that. Many people called it "puppy love" when they first began to date because they were so young, but Zaire often spoke of marrying Dominque. 2 years later Zaire moved away to school and things seemed to be over.

During the summer of 2016, Zaire came home from school and decided to come back to church. At this time their only focus was getting their lives right with God and growing separately. During this time the two became really good friends, best friends if you would and automatically that indescribable feeling was back! As they grew in God they grew closer together. On May 17, 2017 they went to ask their Pastor, Dr. Sheila Harris, if they could begin dating... and so it began!

On October 13, 2018 Zaire proposed to the love of his life. He planned a birthday party for her with all of their friends and family because her birthday was on October 14, 2018. Before this, Dominque had been telling Zaire she wanted a Pandora bracelet. So he went to the Pandora store and got an empty bracelet box and wrote a note to her that said, "Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. -Proverbs 18:22 KJV TURN AROUND!" He put this note in the box and when she opened the box and read the note and turned around he was on one knee with ring in hand! And well obviously, she said YES!
