We're getting married!

A summer love through and through, Alex and Avrielle met June 2009 after graduating high school. As their friends love to recall, they met in a local fast-food parking lot in Avrielle's hometown on her way to a party with her older brother and let's just say, the line had something to do with chicken nuggets and BBQ sauce. Just like that, two unfamiliar souls quickly became best friends. After spending every day together throughout the remaining weeks before freshman year of college kicked in, it was time for Avrielle to leave for Towson University in Maryland while Alex was set to begin school at Pace University in upstate New York. Alex wasn't ready to give up the new romance and asked Avrielle to be his girlfriend the night before she left. Avrielle quickly saw how committed he was to making the long distance relationship work, scheduling as many trips to see her on the weekends as often as he could. Eventually Avrielle transferred back up north to The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and Alex transferred to Ramapo College in northern New Jersey, bringing them closer. Together again every day, they both knew this unconditional love was what they wanted for the rest of their lives. Over the years they've traveled the world from Paris to Cancun, out danced each other at concerts, compared tans down at the Jersey shore, and created a life together full of memories that keep getting better and better every year. They continue to support one another throughout life's biggest milestone and all the little moments in between - the amazing, the heartbreaking and everything in between. It's only fitting Alex and Avrielle will celebrate their relationship on the 10th year anniversary of knowing one another - celebrating a decade of love and happiness surrounded by their closest family and friends.
