Deanna (Dee) and Katie met about 20 years ago, now, and have been friends since the ripe old age of 9. Having grown up in the same church, Dee and Katie volunteered on almost 10 years of ASP trips together, and have shared in countless pivotal life experiences over the past two decades. The most important thing to Katie about this friendship --besides their shared ability to recite an entire Brian Regan stand-up comedy set or mutual secret love of High School Musical-- is the immeasurable consistency. Dee has always been there for Katie and the two have always picked up wherever they leave off. Whether a shoulder to cry on or wipe tears of laughter on, Dee has been there. She now works in HR, lives in Bethel, CT with her boyfriend, Laurton, their one year old son, Bryson, and two cats.
Stephen Hubert

Stephen and Alex became friends playing video games online many years ago. Stephen living in Florida and Alex in Maryland meant they really didn't not have a face to face friendship. They got to know each other pretty well over the years and realized they really could depend on each other for support at each step of their lives. Stephen is an all around entrepreneur. Running his grandparents storage facility, construction jobs as well as other side jobs as often as he can. He is an awesome friend with a lot of heart and a lot of spirit.

Katie Gottlieb is the definition of soul sister! Aptly self-titled "Katie Squared", met in middle school and spent most of their time together throughout their years in Newtown. Impromptu trips, cookie baking, and afternoons with hot tea and The Doors became comfortable and commonplace in their friendship. The best part of their bond is the mutual lack of expectations- no pressure, no putting on airs, just two namesakes with a SUPER IRONIC love for Justin Bieber (or so they will claim until their dying days!) and a standing date for "lights-out" and incense each year on Earth Day. Katie Gottlieb has always been an impressively humble and endlessly generous friend, she is now a veterinarian in Newtown, CT, has traveled all over the world and has a handsome pooch named Frankenstein.
Jon Spencer
Groomsman
Jon Spencer and Alex met through an old job at a produce warehouse. They actually didn't get along very well at first but soon grew to be friends. Alex left the produce warehouse job and started at Sunbelt Rentals. Alex convinced Jon to come along for the journey. They worked together as a strong team to set the example and make great strides in the workplace. Jon ended up getting married to his wife Marcia and asked Alex to be his best man. It meant a lot to Alex to be there for him on that special day and now Alex is happy that he can ask Jon to return the favor. Jon works at Sunbelt Rentals as a Shop Foreman in Laurel. Lives with his wife Marcia and his son Jamari in Catonsville, MD.
Krystal Perrotti

Krystal and Katie met during high school, likely through mutual friends, but who's really to say for such a fast and eager friendship. Krystal has always been a "caution to the wind" force in Katie's life, inspiring her to be, unashamedly, confidently, herself. From being seperated in Mr. Chick's math class for joking around too much, to giggling deliriously while making snacks at 2am in Krystals kitchen, the two always find a way to keep things light and fun. Fast forward to 2015, when both friends reconnected over pivotal moments in their respective lives. During that time, over coloring books and NPR Tiny Desk videos on youtube, the two became a lifeline for each other, once again. Krystal now works in NYC teaching agriculture at a school in Queens, and trains in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
Carl Jacobs

Carl (CJ) and Alex go way back. They met when Alex was 10 and CJ was 12. CJ had just moved in to the house right behind Alex's childhood home. CJ like Alex was not really from the area and did not really get along with a lot of the kids in the neighborhood. They understood each other though and shared a lot of the same hobbies. Skateboarding around town and making goofy music together was all they really needed. Their friendship is all about this mutual respect that they have for each other. Never having to try to hard or be something that they are not. Alex has always appreciated his friendship over the years and is very happy to have him be apart of this special day. CJ works for Sunbelt Rentals as a Road Mechanic. He lives in Baltimore with girlfriend Emily and they are happy.
Cathy Vorce-Miles

Cathy is Alex's older sister who lives in the Westminster, MD area with her husband, Patrick, two cats (Coco, and Butters), and their new puppy (Maggie). Katie first met Cathy, along with the rest of Alex's family in 2016 soon after she and Alex began dating. Since then, Katie and Cathy have bonded over, DIY projects and interior decorating, long walks through Home Goods, sour beer, and obligatory visits to Chili's which, now, always involve margaritas with chicken and waffles! Over the past three years, Katie has grown to rely on Cathy for a balance she sometimes feels like she lacks being so far away from home. With a shared dry sense of humor, and a mutual love for Alex, the two continue to get on like old friends.
Matt Thornton

Matt and Alex met through mutual friends in high school. Music is what really brought them together. Realizing that they could bond as much as they could over an acoustic guitar they started to write music together. The writing was never anything serious they just loved to jam out and see what they could come up with. Alex was a very reserved person and very shy. Matt brought out his confidence and showed how to live life a little. They traveled together all the time on long road trips and just overall enjoyed each other's company. When these two are together there is no filter they just come alive. Matt works for Sunbelt Rentals in Baltimore as a Dispatcher and is awesome at it. He knows how to make a name for himself with hardwork and a lot of heart.
