We're Getting married!

In 1999, a friendship began in Mrs. Vergas' kindergarten class. Brian and Steph quickly became close, sharing countless childhood memories, like after-school phone calls and playful teasing—Steph affectionately nicknamed Brian "Box Head." Their bond grew stronger through elementary school, even surviving the infamous fifth-grade incident when Steph accidentally stapled Brian’s finger to the desk during indoor recess. Through middle and high school, Brian and Steph stayed good friends. They attended parties together, shared laughs, and built a solid foundation for what was to come. Brian would drive Steph around in his Isuzu Rodeo—seats not required—and their connection always had a spark, even if they never officially dated back then. After high school, they went their separate ways for college—Brian to the University of Rhode Island and Steph to Rutgers. Despite the distance, they stayed in touch and always found time for each other during breaks. In the summer of 2015, fate brought them back together when Steph needed a summer job and asked Brian if Mama Luke’s, the pizza place where he worked, was hiring. It was, and that summer became their "Summer of Love," as their flirtatious friendship turned into something more. They capped it off with a road trip to Disney World, solidifying their connection before returning to college for their final year. The next summer, Brian and Steph made their relationship official, and the adventures truly began. They’ve since moved in together, adopted two beautiful vizslas—Brody and Brisket—and explored the world through road trips to New Orleans, Tennessee, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California and Colorado, plus incredible vacations to Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Greece. In 2024, they made another big leap, starting a new chapter in sunny Florida. On July 4, 2023, during a magical evening in Austin, Texas, Brian proposed to Steph under a sky lit up with fireworks. It was a moment as vibrant and beautiful as their journey together, marking the next chapter in their story. Brian and Steph’s connection is rooted in shared passions and mutual admiration. They both love cooking, staying active with biking, yoga, and hiking, and spending time with family and friends. They share a love of comedy shows and find joy in creating lasting memories together. From kindergarten companions to lifelong partners, their story is one of friendship, love, and endless adventures—and this is only the beginning. 💕
