Pumpkin beer was ultimately the winner and they shared their first date at Poopsies in Pembroke, MA over Hawaiian pizza and a pitcher of Shipyard Pumpkinhead beer. The rest is history.

We decided to ring in the New Year at Gurney's in Newport, RI. Just before midnight, Greg suggested we grab a couple of glasses of prosecco and walk out to the lighthouse on the waterfront of the resort. Being the only ones out there, we cheered in the New Year and kissed when the clock struck midnight. Confirming on his watch that it was after midnight, Greg proposed with my Grandmother's ring and stated that "2020 would be our year".
