American/western and nontraditional Indian clothing is totally okay! Wear what makes you feel comfortable. If you would like to wear Indian to the celebrations, you can check out a handy guide here: https://www.lashkaraa.com/blogs/lashkaraa/indian-wedding-reception-outfits
Avni's pronouns are she/her. Terry's pronouns are they/them.
Several guests and one of the nearlyweds use they/them pronouns. This is a way of expressing a gender other than "man" or "woman." So when you are speaking about Terry, for example, you might say "They look stunning in their kurta." If you're not used to using they/them pronouns in speech, practice makes perfect! It's okay to make a mistake, just remember to correct yourself and move on. We appreciate everyone trying their best on our special day!
There is very limited street parking in the neighborhood, but there is a Park Kwik garage one block away at 20 Jay St.
