FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All guests need to RSVP by September 10th, 2026. This gives us time to give a final head count to vendors and make any necessary changes!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can start arriving to the venue at 3:30 pm!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that, unless you have a plus one included on your invitation, you do not bring an extra guest.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that everyone dress semi-formal. We know this is southeast Missouri, and the average attire is not very formal; however, we would love for you to dress up with us for our big day! Therefore, we ask that you do not wear jeans, overalls, shorts, t-shirts, or white. Appropriate attire includes: slacks, khakis, dresses, dress pants, button-downs, blouses, skirts, and suits! If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Avlyn or Morgan.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Since there will be alcohol and we have limited space, we will not be having any children at our wedding unless they are a part of the wedding party. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of onsite parking available!

Question

Is it an open bar?

Answer

Yes! All alcohol will be on us!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors under their chapel pavilion. Our cocktail hour will also be outdoors on the covered patio. Then our reception will be inside the event center!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We ask that all phones be put away during our ceremony so that everyone can be in the moment with us; however, during all other events, pictures can be taken!

Question

Directions to the venue

Answer

If you GPS the venue, it will take you right to it; however, when you are on a long gravel road, do not be alarmed, you are going the right way. The venue is down a long five-mile gravel road; therefore, plan accordingly with transportation. A car can easily get back to the venue just drive slow!
