Travel Note
We are delighted to offer transportation on the day of our wedding between The Blake Hotel in New Haven and Congregation Mishkan Israel in Hamden. Shuttles will depart from The Blake Hotel prior to the ceremony and return guests following the reception. Specific departure times will be shared closer to the wedding date. For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend flying into Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), located just a short drive from downtown New Haven. Alternatively, Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford or any of the major New York City airports (JFK, LGA,) as well as Westchester (HPN) are also convenient options. New Haven is easily accessible via train. Both Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak provide regular service to New Haven Union Station, just minutes from The Blake Hotel. Driving from New Jersey, Long Island or New York City: Take I-95 North to I-91 North (Exit 48), then continue on I-91 North to Exit 3 for Trumbull Street. Follow signs to downtown New Haven. The Blake Hotel is located at 9 High Street, New Haven, CT. Driving from Massachusetts and elsewhere in the Northeast: Take I-90 W (Mass Pike) toward Worcester. Take Exit 4 for I-91 N toward Holyoke/Greenfield. Merge onto I-91 N then continue on I-91 North to Exit 3 for Trumbull Street. Follow signs to downtown New Haven. The Blake Hotel is located at 9 High Street, New Haven, CT. Congregation Mishkan Israel is also easily reached via I-91 off exit 5. Follow state st ( US-5) towards ferry st and take the right onto Ridge rd. Congregation Mishkan Israel is located in the right hand side of the street- 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, CT. Parking: Available for $33 at the Blake Hotel and free at Congregation Mishkan Israel. Please note the drive from The Blake Hotel to Congregation Mishkan Israel is approximately 15 minutes but guests should account for traffic.
