The Marquee Hotel is the venue for our birthday celebration, which will take place on Monday, August 11th, at 4:00 PM on the rooftop. Both Mary and Aviva will also be staying at this hotel. Room rates range from $200 to $270 per night, depending on the room type. Important: August is an extremely busy travel season, and hotels sell out quickly. If you’d like to stay at The Marquee Hotel, we strongly recommend making your reservation no later than May 10th, 2025. Please note: The hotel is located in one of Medellín’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Guests staying on lower floors may experience street noise, especially on weekends. Travel Tip: For the best exchange rate, we recommend booking in Colombian Pesos using a credit card that does not charge foreign transaction fees.

This is a backup hotel located just a block from the Marquee Hotel. It offers a similar price point to Marquee at ~$200 per night and is equally nice. Please note that this hotel is situated in the heart of Medellín's main nightlife district, which may make it harder to sleep in rooms on the lower floors.

Elcielo Hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Marquee Hotel and is equally nice. The price point is slightly higher, at approximately $300 per night. Situated slightly off the main street, it offers a calmer location, making it easier for guests to sleep.
