It was winter...February 21, Michael had recently moved to work at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, Georgia. Through mutual friends, Michael made his way north to Rossville, GA to help a band called Breaking Ground. During his visit, he met a sweet young girl named Ella Avitt. Ella proudly introduced Michael to her church by giving him the full tour. Both Ella and Michael were raised in similar church atmospheres which led to them having a lot in common. After the day passed, the two never saw each other again for a very long time. During this period, both Michael and Ella would check in on one another to provide interpersonal and spiritual advice. This precious time period allowed for them to be friends and learn about each other, despite the distance. After 4 years, the two happened to reconnect at a Cinco De Mayo party. Since both Ella and Michael had stayed in contact, it was like neither one of them missed a beat. As time passed, they fell deeper in love through their passions for God and for each-other. God opened doors for them to lead worship at Cross Pointe Church. God used music to bring these two individuals back together and this is something they will always cherish. As the two grew closer to God, they both showed interest in living life together forever as husband and wife. As a result, Michael proudly proposed and asked Ella to be his wife forever to hold and cherish; and she said “Yes!!!”
