It all began in December 2015 at KC CrossFit in Bakersfield, CA. After getting to know each other for a while, Diana and Noel decided to finally meet in person during a Saturday partner workout filled with overhead squats and plenty of running. Fate paired them up, and amid the sweat and effort, a connection started to form. After the workout, they met up to watch UFC, and that weekend marked the beginning of many more UFC nights and workout dates. Occasional coffee meetups soon became a regular thing, and within a few months, they were spending every weekend together. Their bond grew stronger with each shared experience — hiking with Diana’s boys, Isaiah and Eric, working out at the gym or in their garage, and hanging out with friends. Their adventures even took them to new places, including Canada — Diana’s first time on a plane! A few months into their relationship, Noel met Isaiah and Eric. Watching his natural ease with them only deepened Diana’s feelings. His kindness and patience showed her the kind of partner he could be — someone who would not only support her but embrace her family as his own. The little moments stood out the most. Their first workout together was filled with shared determination, encouragement, and silent glances of support during tough sets. Noel admired Diana’s strength — not just physically, but in her spirit. Meeting Isaiah and Eric only reinforced his feelings, as their energy and humor made him feel at home. As their bond grew, they began making plans for the future. They decided to make Denver their home, and in 2019, Diana and the boys made the move. Since then, they’ve been living their best life together, filled with love, adventure, and endless memories. What started as a Saturday workout became the foundation for a love story rooted in strength, trust, and shared adventures — both inside and outside the gym.

On a family trip to Mexico, Noel had a plan that would turn a simple photo session into one of the most unforgettable days of their lives. Diana, always the one to capture special moments, carried her camera and tripod everywhere. Wanting to create a Christmas card, she suggested they take a family photo on the beach. Everyone agreed, but when they got to the beach, things didn’t go as smoothly as expected. As they had planned, Eric and Isaiah were refusing to get in the shot for the first picture. Diana grew frustrated, trying to get them to settle down, hoping for just one good family photo. Noel stepped in and reassured her, saying, “It’s okay, maybe just the two of us can take a picture together.” He suggested Isaiah take the photo, and as Diana adjusted, Eric, without her knowing, began recording. But then, everything changed. As Diana posed for the photo, she glanced over and saw Noel down on one knee, holding a ring. Her heart stopped, and her eyes filled with tears as she realized what was happening. Completely caught off guard, she was overcome with emotion. In that perfect moment, Isaiah snapped the pictures while Eric, still recording, captured the entire proposal on video. It was a complete surprise — just as Noel had hoped. The moment felt magical, filled with love and joy. They celebrated right there on the beach with Isaiah and Eric cheering them on. What an unforgettable day!
