We first bonded over our love for the Raiders and set a date to meet up. After our initial encounter we both felt a spark and began communicating daily. Within a couple weeks we were officially dating!

We had our first date at Pismo Beach where we enjoyed each others company and great weather. Jacob wanted to recreate that first date feeling for the proposal. We took a short walk on the pier at Pismo Beach on our 1 year and 5 month anniversary. As i was looking out to the ocean, Jacob was getting down on one knee. I quickly asked him “what are you doing!?” and informed him of the ring box being upside down! He was clearly nervous as was i! I then realized i had not responded and very enthusiastically yelled “yes!! Yes!!” We embraced and tears were shed.
