We're Getting Married!

Ryan was the drummer on Jillian's worship team. In Summer of 2015, Ryan confessed his love for Jillian, but she told him, "You're like a brother to me." Look where they are now!

On the day of the proposal, I was stressed for sure. Making sure that everything was set up right, the photographer got there on time, that she didn't see the photographer, that the fire got started etc. It was a lot to handle. When I put the ring in my pocket, my heart was doing laps. Jillian had no idea what was about to happen, even when I suggested having s'mores before dinner and had lights set up for photos. As we sat down to make our first s'more, I decided to crack a joke and say, "Wouldn't it be funny if I just proposed right now?" I took the ring out of my pocket, got on one knee and said, "Jillian Lee Avila, would you do me the honor of spending the rest of your life with me?" After a bunch of, "Are you serious? Is this real? Are you serious???", she said, "of course." And with those two words, we stepped into this journey.
