We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend, not knowing that a simple introduction would end up changing both of our lives. What surprised us was how quickly everything fell into place. Before we ever went on a date, we spent hours on the phone every night, talking about our families, our goals, our childhood stories, and all the little things that make a person who they are. Those conversations made something clear early on… this felt different. When he finally asked me out, he drove all the way to my hometown without hesitation. Our first date was simple but perfect. We watched the Barbie movie, grabbed dinner, and somehow managed to turn a few hours into something that felt like we had known each other forever. Even when the night ended, neither of us wanted it to be over. He FaceTimed me the entire drive home, and that was the moment we both realized we had found something real. The dates kept coming, and so did the feeling that this was turning into something lasting. On August 1st, 2023, he asked me to be his girlfriend with a ramo and a stuffed cow—two sweet things that still make me smile whenever I think about them. From that day forward, we’ve just kept showing up for each other, choosing each other, and building a life full of laughter, comfort, and love. Now here we are, getting ready to say “I do,” still grateful for every late-night call, every long drive, and every moment that brought us to this one.
